Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a registered nurse for outpatient OB/GYN specialty practice in Langhorne, PA. This full-time, day-shift position involves delivering nursing care, assisting physicians, administering medications and immunizations, and coordinating patient education.

The ideal candidate has an active PA license (NJ/PA to be determined), an associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred) and at least one year of ambulatory or urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; PA license required with ability to obtain second RN license if needed.
• One year experience in an acute, urgent care or outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and treatment modalities in ambulatory setting.
• Assists LIP with procedures and prepares patients and exam rooms.
• Administers medications and vaccines according to protocol.
• Triages patient calls and schedules visits.
• Documents education and patient records and supports quality assurance.
