Job summary

Capital Health Nottingham is seeking an RN for outpatient primary care, full-time day shift. The role involves nursing care, patient education, immunizations, and coordination with physicians in an ambulatory setting.

Minimum requirements include an associate degree in nursing, NJ or PA license, and 1 year of outpatient experience. BSN preferred and a second out-of-state RN license must be pursued within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• NJ or PA license based on primary state location; multi-state compact license required.
• Must have applied for second out-of-state RN license within three months from date of hire.
• One year experience in an acute, urgent care or outpatient setting.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and treatment modalities for individual patients.
• Assists LIP with procedures, removes sutures, cleans wounds and applies dressings.
• Educates patients and documents education and comprehension.
• Triages patient medical calls and schedules according to protocol.
• Administers medications and immunizations as ordered; documents records.
