Job summary

Cook County Health is seeking an Administrative Analyst III for the OB/GYN Administration department at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital. This exempt role supports department operations, budget management, payroll-related tasks, and data analysis within a unionized environment.

The position requires strong MS Office skills, project leadership, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 7+ years senior admin experience OR Bachelor's degree with 3+ years senior admin experience.
• 1 year supervisory/managerial experience is required.
• Experience with budget management/analysis is required.
• Experience leading projects and creating/gathering departmental reports is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Office testing at interview (70%+).
• Evenings and weekends availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules interviews, hires, credentialing/re-credentialing and tracks vacancy status.
• Oversees orientation and routine training; ensures staff are trained in systems used.
• Develops work schedules and monitors compliance with mandatory requirements.
• Assist leadership with department budgets and procurement processes.
• Prepare and analyze management reports for quality and operations.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, and maintain documentation; support special projects.
