Cook County Government seeks an Administrative Analyst III for Hospital Medicine in Chicago. This exempt role supports department functions with personnel management, budget analysis, and data reporting.

The position requires navigating union guidelines, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with internal rules. Evening/weekend availability may be needed; salary is commensurate with experience under the RWDSU Local 200 agreement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 3 years senior admin experience; or 7+ years senior admin experience with high school diploma.
• One year of supervisory/managerial experience is required.
• Experience with budget management/analysis is required.
• Experience leading projects and producing department reports is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; MS Office proficiency (70%+ on tests) is required.

Responsabilités

• Schedules interviews and hiring activities; tracks vacancy status.
• Conducts orientation and routine training; ensures staff can use required systems.
• Monitors timekeeping, attendance, and leave records; coordinates with payroll.
• Oversees budgeting and financial management for the department.
• Manages purchasing/payment processes and maintains records.
• Collects and analyzes data to produce management reports for the quality plan.
• Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas/minutes, and maintains documentation.
• Troubleshoots system issues with Information Technology; supports special projects.
• Handles patient and employee complaints in collaboration with involved staff.
• Maintains professional relationships and may back up other administrative staff.
