Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic seeks an RN II for an outpatient OB/GYN Office in Latham, NY. The role supports exam rooms, EMR documentation, medication reviews, referrals, and patient education within a mission-driven environment.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with a strong orientation program and tuition support. Requires NYS RN license, BLS, and at least 6 months of RN experience; lift 20 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Triage experience needed, OB/GYN experience a plus.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• HS Diploma/equivalent required.
• Current unencumbered NYS RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• 6 months previous RN experience.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Brings patient to exam room, takes vital signs and documents in EMR.
• Review and update medication list in EMR for provider review.
• Complete referrals and track patient compliance.
• Review prescriptions electronically for provider submission.
• Obtain patient consent for procedures as directed.
• Perform pre-visit planning and review quality metrics.
• Retrieve telephonic clinical information from patients.
• Monitor task list and complete provider-directed tasks promptly.
• Educate patients regarding medications and home care procedures.
• Maintain proper labeling, handling and documentation for specimens.
• Follow up on test results as advised by provider.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and care areas.
• Contribute to medical supply and drug cabinet management.
• Use EMR for effective communication and documentation.
• Participate in daily Patient Care huddles and team collaboration.
