Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RNII) for the OB/GYN team in Latham, NY. The role supports women’s health through triage, patient assessment, and care coordination in a busy, collaborative practice on-site at the Troy office.

The RN will perform clinical triage, document care in EMR, and work with providers to ensure timely, quality care while maintaining a patient-centered approach. NYS RN license and BLS required; 6 months RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred; HS Diploma/equivalent required.
• Current unencumbered NYS RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• 6 months RN experience minimum.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Takes vitals, orients patient to exam room and documents in EMR.
• Review and update medication lists for provider review.
• Complete referrals and track patient follow-through.
• Review prescriptions electronically and route to providers.
• Obtain patient consent for procedures as directed.
• Perform pre-visit planning and review quality metrics.
• Coordinate telephonic clinical information from patients.
• Support clinic flow and timely task completion.
• Educate patients on medications and home care techniques.
• Maintain clean, safe care environments and stock supplies.
