Advocate Health Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant in the Obstetrics/Gynecology unit at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. The role supports the RN with daily patient care, vital signs, and basic procedures during a 12-hour night shift, including weekends and holidays.

The position is full-time with benefits eligible; BLS and Nurse Aide registration are required. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and input/output; document in EMR.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient safety and respond to call lights promptly.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Keep nursing area stocked and equipment maintained.
