Job summary

Women’s Care PC is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical support in a fast-paced OB/GYN/primary care setting in Trinity, FL. You will prepare patients, assist providers during procedures, and ensure rooms and supplies are properly stocked and sterilized.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus MA certification (preferred or achievable within 120 days), CPR/BLS (preferred or obtainable within 30 days), and experience in OB/GYN or primary care is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA certification preferred or achievable within 120 days.
• (FL only) MA certification within 120 days of employment.
• Graduate of nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or served in the Armed Forces as a Medical Technician.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days of employment through Women’s Care training.
• Experience in OB/GYN or Primary Care is a plus; strong medical terminology knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment, examinations, and testing.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and all patient care areas.
• Record patients' medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint.
• Measure and document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections as directed by the provider, when applicable.
• Educate patients with information and instructions as directed by the provider.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and a safe work environment.
• Relay messages from patients and front office staff to providers; represent the office professionally.
• Attend required meetings and participate in team activities and development.
• Demonstrate Women’s Care mission and core values.
