Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical support across OB/GYN and primary care settings. You will prepare patients, assist providers, record histories and vital signs, and support phlebotomy and injections where required.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, FL MA certification preferred or obtainable within 120 days, and CPR/BLS preferred or obtainable within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Florida MA certification preferred or the ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Graduate of an accredited MA program or honored discharge from Armed Forces as Medical Technician.
• Current CPR/BLS preferred or obtainable within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in OBGYN or Primary Care is a plus.
• Proficient in medical terminology and data entry in EMR.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and injections, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist during procedures.
• Restock and sterilize rooms and materials per policy.
• Record medical history, vital signs, and chief complaints.
• Educate patients and relay messages to providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliant and professional conduct.
• Participate in team and professional development activities.
• Attend required meetings and follow mission and values.
