Women’s Care in Florida seeks a Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical care, prepare patients for exams, and assist providers during procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with MA certification preferred (or obtained within 120 days in FL). CPR/BLS certification is preferred, and OB/GYN or primary care experience is a plus. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA certification preferred or obtainable within 120 days in FL.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in OB/GYN or primary care is a plus; strong medical terminology knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment and testing.
• Restock and sterilize exam rooms, procedure rooms, and lab areas per policy.
• Record medical history, vital signs, and chief complaints.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection as directed.
• Educate patients and relay messages between patients and providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and a professional office presence.
• Participate in meetings and team activities; support Women’s Care mission.
