Women’s Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical care and support during office visits. You will prepare patients, assist providers, document medical history and vitals, and help maintain clean and ready treatment rooms. Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred or obtainable within 120 days.

CPR/BLS is preferred or obtainable within 30 days. Experience in OB/GYN or primary care is a plus, with strong communication and organizational skills and proficiency in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Certification as Medical Assistant preferred or the ability to obtain within 120 days of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment via training.
• Experience in OB/GYN or Primary Care a plus.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and injections, if applicable.
• Ability to perform dosage calculations and measurement conversions.
• Ability to interact and communicate professionally with all levels of staff and patients.
• Proficient computer use and data entry in electronic medical records (eCW).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment/procedures, examinations, and testing.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and other care areas.
• Record patients' medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint; document vital signs.
• Educate patients by providing information and instructions as directed by the provider.
• Relate messages from patients and front office staff to providers; assist in clinical workflow.
• Represent the office professionally and maintain a courteous environment.
