Job summary

Together Women's Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for Advanced Gynecology, a practice partner. The MA will support patient care by taking histories, preparing exam rooms, obtaining vitals, and assisting physicians in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities include documenting records, administering injections, and performing phlebotomy as needed. Prior OB/GYN exposure and CCMA certification are preferred; bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program.
• EMR experience with Athena system(s) is required.
• CCMA certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient health history and enter into EMR.
• Set up exam room and prepare for visits.
• Take vitals and perform preliminary physical tests.
• Set up diagnostic or treatment equipment as needed.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy when required.
• Document patient records, test requests, medications and education.
• May perform scribe duties.
• Assist the physician as directed.
• Work well in a team environment.
