Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support OB/GYN and primary care services across multiple locations. You will prepare patients, assist during exams, and help with phlebotomy, injections, and procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities include recording medical history, vital signs, and ensuring a safe, compliant clinical environment while communicating effectively with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification preferred or ability to obtain CMA within first 120 days of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience in OBGYN or Primary Care a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and injections if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical care following established standards.
• Prepare patients for visits and assist during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain sterile rooms and supply inventories.
• Record patient history, vital signs, and health information.
• Educate patients per provider instructions and HIPAA guidelines.
• Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork with staff and providers.
