Job summary

Together Women's Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join Women First OBGYN, a partner clinic. The MA will obtain patient health histories, prepare exam rooms, take vitals, assist physicians, and enter data into the EMR with accuracy.

Experience in a medical office and EMR familiarity are required; CCMA and a Bachelor's degree are preferred. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology is required.
• CCMA certification is preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient's health history and enter into EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness for patient visits.
• Take vitals and perform preliminary physical tests.
• Set up diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as required.
• Document patient records, tests, medications, and education accurately.
• May perform scribe duties.
• Assist the physician as directed.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
