Together Women’s Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for OBGYN South to support a growing clinical team. The MA will help ensure a professional, warm and caring patient experience while meeting individual patient needs.

Responsibilities include obtaining health history, preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, injections, phlebotomy, and accurate documentation in the EMR. CCMA and higher education are preferred, with 1+ year of office experience.

Competenze

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Graduation from a Certified Medical Assistant program is required.
• CCMA certification is preferred.
• 1+ year of medical office experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology required.
• OBGYN office experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Obtain patient health history and enter into EMR accurately.
• Set up and prepare exam room for patient visits.
• Perform preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals.
• Set up diagnostic and treatment equipment as needed.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete documentation for medical records, tests, medications, and patient education.
• May perform scribe duties.
• Assist the physician as directed.
• Work well in a team environment.
