Job summary

Together Women’s Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join the Women’s OB/GYN team. You will support clinical operations, manage patient check-ins, and assist providers during exams in a high-volume OB/GYN setting.

The ideal candidate has medical office experience, EMR familiarity, and a commitment to compassionate patient care. Prior OB/GYN experience and CCMA are preferred, with opportunities for growth within a growing network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years in a medical office.
• Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology is required.
• Previous experience at an OB/GYN office is required.
• Must be comfortable in a high-volume clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient health history and enter into EMR.
• Set up and prepare exam room for patient visits.
• Perform preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals.
• Set up diagnostic and/or treatment equipment.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete documentation of medical records, test requests, medications and education.
• May perform scribes duties.
• Assist the physician as directed.
• Work well in a team environment.
