Job summary

Montefiore Health System seeks a Director of Clinical Operations for the OB/GYN department. This executive will oversee clinical and operational aspects across six pillars, driving patient access, experience, quality, safety, and staff wellness.

The role leads NPs, CNMs, and nursing support, ensures regulatory compliance, and mentors nursing leadership. Strong performance in data-informed decisions is essential in this patient-centered, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; Master's degree preferred.
7-9 years of clinical OBGYN experience required.
4-6 years in a leadership role preferred.
New York State RN license required; BLS required.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and governance of standardized clinical and administrative workflows across OB/GYN sites.
Oversee NP/CNM panel management and balanced workloads.
Monitor patient experience data to drive improvement in satisfaction scores.
Ensure care coordination across prenatal to postpartum and gynecologic care.
Lead regulatory, accreditation, and certification activities for the department.
Develop mentorship and retention programs for departmental staff.
Drive expansion of signature programs like Pregnancy Home Initiative.
