Job summary

Montefiore Health System seeks a Director of Clinical Operations for the Obstetrics & Gynecology department. This senior leader will oversee patient access, experience, quality and safety, and staff wellness across six pillars, driving data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.

The role leads NP/ CNM teams, collaborates with division directors and finance, and champions the Pregnancy Home Initiative while ensuring regulatory compliance and program expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; Master's degree preferred.
• New York State License as a Registered Nurse is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and governance of standardized clinical and administrative workflows across OB/GYN practice sites and care settings.
• Oversee end-to-end panel management for NPs and CNMs with appropriate panel size and balanced caseloads.
• Monitor patient experience data to drive sustained improvements in satisfaction scores.
• Ensure care coordination workflows across prenatal to postpartum and gynecologic care are seamless.
• Lead regulatory, accreditation, and certification activities for the department.
• Create programs for staff development, recognition, and retention.
• Drive the Pregnancy Home Initiative and other signature programs with measurable outcomes.
