Job summary

Tri-State Energy (TSE) seeks a New York City Construction Project Manager to lead lighting and mechanical construction projects for NYC-based clients, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors, with a strong focus on safety, schedule, and budget. Candidates should have a proven track record in facilities projects and experience with agencies like NYPA or DCAS is a plus.

The ideal candidate will reside in NY or NJ, be comfortable traveling in the tri-state area, and capable of managing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or electrical license or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing lighting teams or contractors.
• Five (5) years experience managing contracting projects with leadership roles.
• Ability to lead teams, manage projects, ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Preference for experience in lighting/HVAC in public facilities.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel within the tri-state area.

Responsibilities

• Strong client relationship skills and project oversight.
• Vendor management and resource coordination for audits and cost estimates.
• Drive execution of client projects and safety compliance.
• Prepare budgets and present proposals to executives and stakeholders.
• Oversee deployment of field teams and capacity planning.
• Communicate with multiple departments to resolve issues.
