Job summary

Tri-State Energy is seeking a Junior Construction Manager to support Senior Project Managers on commercial and industrial HVAC and lighting projects. This onsite role in New Jersey emphasizes effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive project success.

You will manage data, documentation, scheduling, and compliance while coordinating with mechanical contractors and lighting teams. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential for timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or construction management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently or within a team.
• Exceptional organizational, time-management, and planning skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between the Senior Project Manager, clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Collect, organize, and enter mechanical and lighting data into internal tools.
• Assist in project documentation and closeout processes.
• Ensure safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Issue purchase orders and assist with change orders and scope changes.
• Create and maintain detailed project timelines and milestones.
