Job summary

Fairstead in New York City seeks a Violations and Compliance Coordinator to manage NYC agency laws, regulations, and violations for a multi-site portfolio. The role focuses on consolidating data from various sources to support the Property Management Team.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management with a focus on facilities compliance.
• Experience with managing complaints and violation removal in NYC.
• Extensive knowledge of HPD, DOB, ECB procedures and hearings.
• Elevator and Boiler Annual Inspections experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks including violations, hearings, and court submissions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and track progress of NYC portfolio-wide compliance items.
• Ensure inspections (facades, sprinkler, boiler, fire safety) are conducted and code compliant.
• Lead close-out process for all violations with tracking and reporting.
• Investigate and research building violations by agencies (FDNY, DOB, ECB, DEP).
• Support the Property Management team and the company as needed.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
