Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 (commensurate with experience) + potential of 15% bonus, generous benefits, PTO

About the Role

Our client, a well‑established property management company based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Manager to oversee regulatory compliance across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce a compliance program aligned with NYC regulations.
• Conduct routine property audits and inspections to ensure adherence to DOB, FDNY, HPD, DSNY, DOH, DOT, and other city code requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison with NYC regulatory agencies for inspections, filings, permits, and violation resolution.
• Collaborate with property managers, maintenance staff, and contractors to execute corrective actions and maintain compliance.
• Monitor changes in city regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
• Maintain documentation of all compliance activities and train internal teams on best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs, preferably in NYC property management.
• Strong working knowledge of NYC agency regulations (DOB, FDNY, HPD, DSNY, DOH, DOT, etc.).
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities across different properties.
• Industry certifications such as ARM® or CPM® are a plus.
