Jackson Lewis PC in New York City seeks an experienced employment attorney to litigate a broad range of employment-related claims and represent employers in court, before agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration across employment matters.

The candidate should have a JD from an accredited law school, 5+ years in employment law, and current New York Bar admission or eligibility, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract and employment tort cases.
• Advise employers regarding compliance with fair employment laws and related risk management, including dispute resolution programs.
