Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent education or experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Two+ years engaging disadvantaged populations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• Knowledge of NYC public housing and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute multi-stakeholder meetings per engagement plan for NYCHA projects.
• Coordinate regular communication with residents and questions/concerns.
• Engage residents via calls, flyers, brochures, and door-to-door canvassing.
• Schedule updates to stakeholders, Tenant Association, and residents.
• Present at meetings and workshops with construction/relocation teams.
• Solicit updates from construction, relocation, and other teams for residents.
• Ensure materials are informative, clear, and translated.
