Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager in New York City to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance while delivering high-quality work for clients.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams, manage costs and schedules, enforce NYC codes and safety standards, and report progress to senior management. This full-time role is not hybrid or remote and seeks to fill the vacancy by January 22, 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in construction project management and related construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction, procurement, execution, and closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, cost controls, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams.
• Collaborate with superintendents and field teams to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Provide direction to subordinate managers and ensure project alignment with design, budget, and schedule.
