Job summary

A community-based non-profit organization in Bronx is seeking a NYC HRA Enrollment Benefit Specialist to help community members access and navigate benefit programs. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, at least one year of relevant experience, and proficiency in essential digital tools. This role requires travel throughout the five boroughs and entails conducting client assessments and application assistance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in social services or nonprofit organization is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities in Arabic and/or Spanish are a plus.
• Must be comfortable with on-site work in the Bronx.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person assessments for clients to identify eligibility for HRA benefits.
• Guide clients through the application process for NYC benefits.
• Schedule appointments for follow-up consultations.
