Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner with NY jurisdiction experience to analyze Lost-Time claims for clients across various industries. The role emphasizes adjudication, benefits determination, and timely processing in a dynamic, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will hold NY licensing, a strong claims background, and the ability to work in a hybrid/remote setting, with a focus on quality service and professional development.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Licensing: NY - Required.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing NY Lost-Time claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions professionally and timely.
