Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an NX Cad Admin / Triage support in Mountain View, CA. You will establish, maintain, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment for engineering and manufacturing teams, ensuring reliable, performant, and standardized tools to rapidly innovate.

You will provide specialized CAD software support (NX, SolidWorks), manage the IT helpdesk queue, and onboard new hires. The role includes creating self-service docs and mentoring users to resolve NX-related issues.

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Drafting/Design, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of IT helpdesk/technical support experience.
• 1–2 years CAD experience with NX or SolidWorks in a professional setting.
• Ability to read NX logs and sys logs.
• Strong written and verbal communication across org levels.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Patient, empathetic customer service attitude under tight deadlines.
• Organized and able to multitask high ticket volume.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Siemens NX CAD environment across the organization.
• Provide specialized CAD software support for design and engineering teams (NX, SolidWorks).
• Manage IT helpdesk queue (e.g., Jira Service Desk); triage and assign tickets.
• Resolve Tier 1–2 CAD/PLM software issues.
• Meet or exceed SLAs for ticket response and resolution times.
• Onboard new hires with CAD workstations, accounts, and permissions.
• Create and maintain self-service docs and internal knowledge base.
