Job summary
Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, California, is seeking an NX Cad Admin / Triage support to establish and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment for engineering and manufacturing teams. You will work closely with designers and engineers to ensure reliable, performant, and standardized tools to accelerate innovation.
The role includes templates, onboarding, SLAs, knowledge base creation, and collaboration with IT, quality, and external service providers.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s in IT, CS, Engineering, Drafting/Design, or equivalent.
- 2-4 years IT helpdesk/technical support experience.
- CAD: 1–2 years supporting CAD (NX, SolidWorks).
- Experience interpreting NX logs / system logs.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues to engineers and non-technical staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment, templates, and defaults.
- Provide specialized CAD software support (NX, SolidWorks).
- Manage IT helpdesk tickets; triage and route effectively.
- Meet SLAs for ticket response and resolution times.
- Onboard new hires with CAD-ready workstations and access.
- Create and maintain internal IT knowledge base articles.
- Provide technical leadership and training to teams.
