Job summary

Old Colony Elder Services (OCES) is expanding services to the south shore and seeks a Nutrition Program Assistant to support records, billing, and reporting within a caring team.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, data handling, and collaboration with management. A high school diploma is required, associates degree preferred, with at least one year of relevant experience and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to respect privacy and confidentiality.
• Ability to deal effectively with statistical and financial data.
• Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and update date for consumers within appropriate record systems.
• Provide accurate reports as required by the department.
• Assist staff in setting up intake packets and submitting/tracking PCP, ATC, NOA, and VA letters.
• Communicate with program management regarding information related to file setup and issues with completed paperwork.
• Providing telephone coverage for Nutrition department, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
