Qualifications

Competencies/Skillset:

  • Must be reliable with good attendance and have reliable transportation.
  • This role is ultimately responsible for inputting resident meal orders into a tablet-based digital menu system utilizing the Mealsuite Touch platform.
  • Customer service skills in relation to meeting new residents and families on admission, and addressing food concerns.
  • Organized with the ability to handle large volumes of data, documentation, and communications with accuracy. Must be able to respond to email/phone requests and communications in a timely manner. Must be able to multitask and handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Dependable, efficient with time, and professional in appearance. Will represent the Dietary/Nutrition department when meeting new residents/families or standing in for meetings.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Mail, Google Drive, Adobe, Mealsuite and Mealsuite Touch required.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills. Will be working with the nursing departments, residents and culinary services team on a daily basis.
  • Ability to handle potentially high stress situations and problem solve.
  • Knowledge of CMS Long Term Care Regulations, Food Safety/Sanitation, and the Food Code preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records and abide by HIPAA.
  • Physical Requirements: Walking the facility and delivering food items or paperwork/tickets throughout the day.
  • Experience working in an office/healthcare/administrative/clerical setting working with computer programs, data entry, and communication highly preferred.

Role: 70% Dietary/Food Service 30% Clinical.

Experience/Education

  • Knowledge of CMS Long Term Care Regulations, Food Safety/Sanitation, and the Food Code.
  • Experience with Point Click Care and Mealsuite.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or with the elderly population.
  • Experience as a Nutrition assistant.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 based on certification/education/experience
