Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintains current AHA BLS Provider certification.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership support to nurse manager for unit daily and program management.
• Monitors staffing, operational and care needs to ensure resources for quality patient care.
• Maintains safe staffing levels through just-in-time recruitment.
• Assists nursing manager with scheduling, evaluations and staff interviews.
• Participates in budget monitoring and supports cost controls.
• Drives performance improvement and PI activities for the unit.
