Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Nursing Tech I Tele-Sitter to remotely monitor patients from our Monitor Room using AI-powered technology designed to enhance safety and support quality care.

You will identify safety risks in real time, communicate concerns to the care team, assist with daily living activities, and document vitals and patient data. This is a hands-on role with patient contact and charting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing student who has completed a basic clinical skills lab preferred.
• Must have at least 2 years hospital or long term care experience within related field.
• BLS required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, collects and records information in the patient record.
• Transports patients and documents action in patient record.
• Participates in the nutritional well being of patients through tray delivery, assistance with patient set-up and feeding.
• Assists with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, positioning and ambulation.
• Rounds on patients and families frequently to assess and address personal needs, concerns or comfort related issues.
• Performs wound care and dressing changes and assists with sterile procedures.
• Applies oxygen delivery devices as ordered and assists with portable oxygen.
• Documents all care in patient records and uses the computerized documentation system.
