Job summary

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Complete and file admission/transfer/discharge records and physician orders.
• Chart nursing notes and maintain accurate documentation of care and resident responses.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop good rapport with inter-departmental staff and ensure warm, calm unit environment.
• Receive and relay nursing reports; perform rounds with physicians as needed.
