Waldron Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Shelbyville, IN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants according to state and federal standards. The LPN will ensure the highest quality of care and report to the Director of Nursing.

Qualificações

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants on the shift.
• Document admissions, transfers and discharges; chart nurse notes.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Coordinate with inter-departmental staff to maintain care quality and a calm environment.
• Perform nursing procedures such as catheterization, dressings, blood draws and related tasks.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of resident information; report incidents as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
