Job summary

Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, seeks a Nursing Supervisor - RN to lead nursing staff in a day shift. The role focuses on direct patient care, clinical oversight, and collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer to uphold care standards.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, ACLS/BLS credentials, and supervisory experience, with a commitment to quality and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.
• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Hospital Name: Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital Joint venture/Partnership/Affiliation with Select Medical Position: Nursing Supervisor - Registered Nurse (RN) Location: New Orleans, LA Schedule: Full-Time; 12-Hour Shifts, Day Shift Compensation: $39.52 to $52.00 per hour, based on years of experience

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
