Job summary

RIVERCREST in Oregon City seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. You will supervise staff, manage policies, and coordinate care to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will participate in committee work, prepare reports for leadership, and help develop and implement care plans and nursing service QA programs to support residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the United States.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in long-term care.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations.
• Ability to develop and implement care plans and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty to ensure quality care.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in directing daily nursing functions and policy adherence.
• Maintain current reference materials and ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is up-to-date.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to the Director regarding nursing operations.
• Participate in care coordination and ensure staffing levels meet resident needs.
• Attend and contribute to committee meetings related to nursing programs and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with dress codes, safety, infection control, and medication administration procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain residents' total regimen of care.
• Review discharge plans and participate in adjusting plans as required.
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing service quality assurance activities.
