Job summary

FORESTGROVE is seeking a Nursing Services Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role includes directing nursing staff, updating policies, and reporting to the Director of Nursing.

You will participate in committees and support care planning to maintain high-quality resident care. The position requires coordinating with RNs, LPNs, and aides, maintaining documentation, and promoting a warm, professional environment

Qualifications

• Must supervise day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current rules and regulations.
• Excellent coordination with DON/ADON and nursing staff.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing day-to-day nursing functions in the facility.
• Develop and update written policies for the nursing service department.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Attend and contribute to committee meetings as required.
• Oversee staffing to ensure adequate RN/LPN coverage for each shift.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Develop and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and professional care.
