Job summary

Kalkaska Memorial Health Center (KMHC) is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead after-hours nursing teams and ensure high-quality patient care across shifts. This full-time, non-exempt role requires an active Michigan RN license and 5–7 years of nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities.

You will participate in Code Alerts and Medical Response Teams, support EHR downtimes, and conduct routine rounds and evening huddles.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• 5–7 years of nursing experience with supervisory/leadership preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• ED experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification within 6 months of employment. TNCC/ENPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• After hours Employee Health
• Participates in Code Alerts and Medical Response Teams
• Participates in MHC EHR Downtimes
• Rounding on all departments and participates in evening departments huddles
• Emergency Department RN coverage during times of high acuity/traumas
• Assist with Emergency Department transfers
• Communicate with Administrator On Call as appropriate
