Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• Currently enrolled in nursing program and has completed one clinical nursing course and one clinical rotation.
• Ability to clearly communicate to other members of the healthcare team.
• Knowledge of patient and healthcare safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supports the nurse in applying the nursing process.
• Reports changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Provides basic patient care including hygiene, vital signs, mobility.
• Documents patient data accurately and timely.
• Participates in hand-off/report of pertinent information between staff.
