Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Clinical Nursing Student for Lourdes Hospital in Kentucky. The role provides direct patient care under RN supervision, offering valuable clinical exposure as you shadow and learn within a hospital setting.

You will participate in the nursing process, support patient care, and develop critical thinking and professional skills under guidance. This is a part-time clinical opportunity with potential for growth and learning within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program with at least one clinical course and one rotation completed.
• BLS (preferred).
• Recent acute or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the nurse in applying the nursing process under RN guidance.
• Develop critical thinking through collaboration with the RN to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide basic patient care including vital signs, hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Report changes or concerns to the nurse promptly.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for patient care.
• Participate in hand-offs and shift reports.
