Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Clinical Nursing Student to provide direct patient care under RN supervision during night shifts. The role focuses on clinical experience and basic care within regulatory guidelines and hospital policies.

You are currently enrolled in a nursing program, have completed one clinical nursing course and one clinical rotation, and hold HS/GED. BLS is preferred and EPIC EHR training is optional.

Qualifications

• HS/GED is required.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program and has completed one clinical nursing course and one clinical rotation.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the nurse in applying the nursing process under RN guidance.
• Develop critical thinking skills in collaboration with the RN.
• Provide basic patient care including hygiene, vital signs, and mobility.
• Report changes or concerns to the nurse promptly.
• Record accurate, timely documentation for patient care.
