Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Clinical Nursing Student at Lourdes Hospital to provide direct patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The role offers clinical exposure through shadowing and care delegation within the nurse's scope.

You will support nursing processes, communicate clearly, and participate in data collection and documentation while developing critical thinking and professional skills in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS/GED is required.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program with at least one clinical course and one rotation completed.
• The ability to document patient care accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Support the nurse in applying the nursing process under RN guidance.
• Develop critical thinking through collaboration with the RN.
• Provide basic patient care including vital signs, hygiene, and mobility.
• Report changes or concerns to the nurse promptly.
• Deliver high-level customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Document patient care accurately.
