Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nursing Student to provide direct patient care under the guidance of an RN. This role offers clinical experience through job shadowing and care within the RN delegation framework.

As a nursing student, you will develop critical thinking, document accurately, and participate in hand-offs while supporting the care team and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• HS/GED is required.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program with at least one clinical course completed.
• One clinical rotation completed is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the nurse in applying the nursing process under RN supervision.
• Provide basic patient care including hygiene, vital signs, and mobility.
• Document care accurately and timely in the charting system.
• Communicate changes and concerns to the nurse and care team.
• Assist with hand-off reports and ensure patient comfort and safety.
