Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center is seeking a Central Staff Scheduling Coordinator to support workforce scheduling across hospital locations. The role requires collaboration with clinical leaders and staff to manage staffing needs, schedule adjustments, and workforce support activities.

Training is onsite for 6–8 weeks, after which a hybrid work model is adopted. Responsibilities include analyzing variances, assigning float pools, using UKG and Excel for scheduling and payroll tasks, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree preferred in related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in office, clerical/secretarial work, health care, customer service, computer applications, scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes shift-by-shift staffing variances by unit and reallocates or cancels staff.
• Assigns float and flex pool team members to units with deficits and communicates assignments.
• Uses scheduling software to perform scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll duties as directed.
• Attends meetings, compiles data, performs staffing recruitment tasks, and assists leadership as directed.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and other departments.
• Supports overall department and Corewell Health goals.
