CHS Career Site is seeking a Staffing Coordinator in Laredo, TX to manage daily and long-term staff scheduling across departments. You will ensure coverage aligns with patient demand, maintain records, and collaborate with HR and payroll on labor management.

You will monitor shifts, perform real-time adjustments, and support adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards while maintaining accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in staff scheduling, administrative coordination, or healthcare operations required
• 1-2 years of experience using scheduling or staffing software systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain staff schedules based on department needs and policy.
• Monitors staffing levels and adjusts coverage with clinical leadership.
• Documents call-ins, shift changes, and schedule modifications for timely notification.
• Assist with time-off requests, shift trades, and overtime approvals.
• Support real-time staffing adjustments using float pool, PRN, or agency resources.
• Maintain records of schedules, attendance, overtime, and staffing metrics.
• Generate and distribute scheduling documents and updates.
• Utilize scheduling software to manage and update data.
• Resolve issues related to staffing operations and contribute to process improvements.
