Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center is seeking a Central Staff Scheduling Coordinator to support workforce scheduling across hospital locations. You will use UKG and Excel to manage schedules, track data, and support planning.

After 6–8 weeks of onsite training, you will transition to a hybrid model, working both virtually and onsite about 2–3 days per week at the Southfield location. Primary duties include analyzing variances, reallocating staff, and communicating with leaders and teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in office, clerical, health care, or scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes shift-by-shift staffing variances and reallocates staff as needed.
• Assigns float/flex pool to units with deficits and communicates tasks.
• Uses scheduling software for scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll tasks.
• Attends meetings, compiles data, and supports leadership with staffing.
• Communicates professionally with colleagues across departments.
