• 3–5 years staffing experience in a health care setting.
• High school diploma or equivalency; Associate’s degree preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to handle heavy phones in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact professionally with Nursing Management/Supervisory staff.
• SmartLinx experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones for the staffing office; processes messages and arranges replacements to maintain staffing levels.
• Assists with nursing department payroll and attendance records.
• Handles call-ins and follows up with replacing staff to meet staffing needs.
• Performs clerical typing and office support for the nursing office as required.
• Prepares routine nursing reports and maintains employee paperwork for HR.
• Notifies HR of staffing vacancies and updates position control reports.
• Maintains staffing assignment pages weekly and communicates daily staffing patterns to leadership.
• Maintains professional atmosphere and confidentiality; adheres to policy and resident rights.
