Aristacare-Health-Service in New Jersey is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to plan and implement a sustainable staffing strategy and ensure daily staffing for the Nursing Department. You will monitor staffing needs, coordinate with agencies, screen candidates, orient new hires, and design shift schedules while maintaining timekeeping for payroll and reporting to management.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of staffing/coordinator experience in long-term care, with strong organizational,

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Staffing Coordinator or similar role
• At least 1 year long term care facility experience
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind
• Reliable with respect to confidentiality
• Minimum: high school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy
• Ensure Daily Staffing is in place for Nursing Department
• Monitor staffing needs and staff accordingly for callouts
• Work with staffing agencies as needed
• Identify hard to fill roles and take proactive actions
• Assist in candidate screening and interviewing
• Assist with new employee orientation
• Design and plan work shift schedules
• Provide timekeeping for payroll purposes
• Create, present and submit reports to management
