Job summary

Lumber Liquidators is hiring a Nursing Scheduler in Cleveland, OH, to develop, maintain, and coordinate nursing staff rosters for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. This role balances regulatory requirements with resident care needs and staff availability.

You will partner with nursing leadership to optimize staffing, manage changes, and ensure accurate payroll records and survey readiness. A strong emphasis on confidentiality and quality assurance is required.

Qualifications

• Must have prior staffing or scheduling experience in healthcare.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of staffing requirements and shift coverage.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions and last-minute changes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly nursing staff schedules (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
• Ensure staffing levels meet regulatory requirements, facility policies, and resident care needs.
• Manage schedule changes due to call-offs, PTO, leaves of absence, and shift trades.
• Coordinate coverage including overtime, float staff, or agency personnel as approved.
• Communicate scheduling changes clearly to staff and leadership.
• Maintain accurate staffing records for payroll, audits, and surveys.
• Monitor staffing patterns for CMS and state/federal compliance.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on staffing concerns and workforce planning.
• Maintain confidentiality of scheduling information and processes.
• Assist with staffing-related audits and quality assurance processes.
